Sie können zum Beispiel auf dem Radweg Biosfärleden (dt. Biosphärenweg) zwis- chen Lidköping und Mariestad 65 km durch die Landschaft radeln, vorbei an historischen Felsze- ichnungen, Steinbrüchen und blühenden Wiesen. Wer Lust auf mehr Action hat, kann sich am Kinnekulle auf den sechs Mountainbike-Strecken mit unterschiedlichen Steigungen, Distanzen und Schwierigkeitsgraden austoben. Der geschützte Schärengarten von Kållandsö bietet auch bei Wind ruhige Gewässerbedingungen. Das offene Wasser und der äußere Schärengarten sind nur ein paar Hundert Meter entfernt. Nur ein paar Minuten außerhalb von Lidköping befindet sich der Golfplatz von Lidköpings Golfklubb. Einen weiteren Golfplatz bietet Lundsbrunns Golfklubb. Der leicht hügelige und sehr abwechslungs- reiche Parklandplatz umfasst weite Flächen, Baumbestand, Wäldchen und kleine Teiche. Auf demWeg nach Schloss Läckö befindet sich der Platz von Läckö Golfklubb, der durch schönen Eichenbestand und sanfte Hügel verläuft. Cycling, kayaking and golf With the proximity of Lake Vänern and scenic countryside, your holiday in Götene and Lidköping offers great scope for getting active. Cycle the 65 km BiosphereTrail, running between Lidköping and Mariestad and offering everything from historical petroglyphs to quarries and flower meadows. For those who like things a little more action-packed, mountain-bik- ing is the ultimate way to get around the forest and countryside. Kinnekulle offers six mountain bike trails of varying ascents, distances and levels of difficulty. The Kållandsö archipelago is dense and offers calm paddling conditions even in breezy weather, while the open waters of the lake and the outer islands and skerries are only a few hundred metres away. Just a few minutes from Lidköping lies Lidköping Golf Club, while 25 km east of the town is Lundsbrunn Golf Club, a slightly undulating park course offering great variety, with everything from open landscape, clumps of trees and woodland to ponds. On the way to Läckö Castle you will find Läckö Golf Club, bordered by picturesque oak copses and hillocks.
