History makes itself felt all around in the form of churches, ruins and quarries. The flowering mountain WILD GARLIC Nature doesn’t come much more pictu- resque than the forest floor awash with a white sea of wild garlic blooms in early summer. You will also find Mörkeklevs Grot- ta – a grotto where you can drink fresh spring water. STORA STENBROTTET (THE GRAND QUARRY) Kinnekulle’s very own Grand Canyon, where you can view 40 metres of its limestone layers. You can also hike and fish. OUROBOROS SCULPTURE PARK This sculpture park in Husaby opened last summer. It will display new sculptures by local artists every year. HELLEKIS MANOR Hellekis Manor boasts borders of perennials with 300 different varieties and a magnificent rose garden with old-fa- shioned roses. There’s also a restaurant and art exhibitions in the greenhouses. BÄRLAUCH Ein schöneres Natur- paradies gibt es kaum, wenn der Bärlauch im Frühsommer unter den Laubbäumen einen weißen Blüten- teppich ausbreitet. In der Höhle Mörkeklevs kann man sich mit kühlem Quellwasser erfrischen. SKULPTUREN- PARK OURO- BOROS Letzten Sommer öff- nete der Skulpturen- park in Husaby seine Pforten. Hier werden jedes Jahr neue Skulpturen regionaler Künstler ausgestellt. HELLEKIS HERRENHAUS Auf dem Hofgut Hellekis warten Stau- denbeete mit 300 Arten und ein herr- licher Rosengarten mit alten Sorten auf Sie sowie ein Restaurant und Kun- stausstellungen im Gewächshaus.
