Läckö Kinnekulle 2021 - english/german

W e have lived through a time when the pandemic limited our scope for getting out and about and enjoying experiences and it is therefore particularly important that the locations we choose to visit feel safe. We want to know that there will be plenty of space and that we can comfortably keep our distance from others at accommodation, restaurants, along hiking trails, at visitor attractions and viewpoints. At Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle we are working with our local partners to ensure that all visitors feel safe and secure. We have plenty of space to spare both in town and out in the countryside, where you can always find a rocky outcrop, a woodland grove or a viewpoint to enjoy undisturbed. AS A RESULT OF these unprecedented times our work on sustainability has become an even stronger focus on our agenda. Destination Läckö-Kinnekulle along with the municipalities of Lidköping and Götene is part of the Lake Vänern Archipelago with Kinnekulle biosphere reserve – a UNESCO- designated model area for sustainable deve- lopment. This means that we are continuously working to ensure qualitative values and a sustainable destination worth living in, working in and visiting both now and in the future. YOU CAN ALWAYS find something interesting to discover – whether that’s cultural heritage buildings and sites dating back 1000 years, Sweden’s largest lake that is a source of life and a resource for play and recreation, varied landscapes offering countless possibilities for both activities and relaxation, good food from our local growers that is served up lovingly prepared at our restaurants, exciting art and design, or the personal service and wonderful atmosphere that collectively make for an extra special experience!
